Yesterday we met at our last service stop 20km away from Zacatecas! Arrival arch was a complete party!! Well done team! All smiles!! Adrian and Guillermo celebrating a week of improvements & lots of fun.. You must know they are already thinking on some car arrangements for next year!! Lots of passion at Panamercana this year. It was great to meet with old friends from the carrera and getting to know new ones too... All have good stories and car knowledge to share.. As for myself very glad and thankful to share this experience with the Aguirre's family.

Reassembly of breaks!

One big surprise... The BMW ran into a little dog and as the dog was being destroyed by the little BMW, he in turn jammed our rear breaks (talk about karma..!) So it was a chilly night getting the breaks in place again.. We then tested the breaks through Guanajuato's tunnels which are actually pretty fun with no traffic at all! Good luck today BMW see u later!!!

Yesterday was an amazing arrival to Guanajuato with samba music, lots of people and good vibe! Panam getting better every day! Guillermo couldn't be happier...! And me neither by the way I enjoyed yesterday a lot!! This is a great team..!

Had a good session at Mil Cumbres today!

We ran at a good pace, but not nearly close to as fast as on the first year. But, definitely safer and taking better care of the car. We should hit 4th place in the A plus category. Need to keep a good steady pace for the next few days.

We don't have a video this year, but we'll get one soon !

First special of the day. We did minor tweeks this morning and the car feels and sounds great!

Day 4 - start!

Top secret spot for the service stop

Yesterday's first speed stage had a multiple crash count with five of them happening in the same corner of the route. We think they all might have been trying to get a more secluded setup for their service, well, they found themselves in a pretty crowded place!

Thankfully out of the 5 crews only one person needed medical attention, that's a testament of the great safety measures enforced in the Carrera Panameicana! We'll try to get a more detailed account of the events and we'll keep you posted.

Day 3 - 3rd special

Back in the desert !

Day 3 - speed sections 1 & 2 of the day

The first 2 specials of day 3 got cancelled due to a series of nasty accidents. 3 cars went off on the same corner only 5 turns into a long section. Plus another couple of other crashes.

Other than that, the actual place for these sections is a lovely place. Going from totally arid to forest.

We meet again!

We ran into our 288 at the gas station! Are we going to make it to the service stop before they do? We'll see!

They have 4 stages before the service and we have to travel through the same roads, I sincerely hope we'll run into some miracle luck...

But all is well on day 3!

The road is long today on our way to Queretaro, 389km before the service. After a good night sleep everything looks brighter!
